Chrome Velvac mirror warranty

I have a 2002 34fdds with chrome mirrors. I have been under the impression that the warranty on the chrome was 5 years. I have put off getting replacement on a corroded arm for years, waiting till near the end of the warranty. Now Velvac says the warranty is only 2 years and I can't find any info on the warranty that I thought I had. Doe's anyone have any information about a 5 year warranty?
