Currently working on a fogged window problem with CEGI (started about 6 months ago without results). I need to show where it is stated in any Alpine literature that there is a 3 yr window warranty. If anyone has literature please email me and post it in the tech page. Upon a resolution with CEGI I will post how to or not to get results.
Thanks
Jim

When we started our claim for fogged windows we were four months short of the 3 year warranty period. Working through Western RV, SEGI sent four sets of small windows and they shipped the large picture window twice (it arrived broken each time). They had also agreed to pay $75/hour service charges for replacement of the windows.

Now that Western RV is bankrupt, SEGI refuses to honor the warranty (send another big window or pay any service charges) - even though they acknowledge that they have our claim details in their computer at SEGI Customer Service.

We gave up. Oh, and in the meantime, all of the rest of our windows are now fogged up. Good luck. Lots of forum members would love to hear of any success you have with SEGI.

Corp. name: SE-GI Products
Address: 1900 second street
Norco Ca. 92860

Agent for Service of Process
Manuel Espinosa (also president and owner)

Corp ID# C0900599

This will get you to the phone number. As it stands right now I have to show documentation of the three yr warranty. I have contacted personel from WRV hoping they will be of assistance. When searching it thru the Calif. database it is filled S-E-G-I
Will keep you posted. I may file case in Florida regardless of outcome

I had the same experience that Snuggery had. When WRV put in a claim for one window it was sent to me and I installed it myself. I then went through WRV for 2 more windows which fogged, WRV sent the claim to SEGI and then went out of business. SEGI acknowledged the claim however refused to send the windows because WRV was out of business. What a great and honorable company, they found away not to honor their own warranty. SEGI offered to sell me the windows.
I am a true believer in what goes around comes around.
