All of a sudden water flow into the coach stops. When I turn on the pump it works fine. When I go outside, I verify that water is, indeed, reaching the city water input connection. After a while, the water works again. I assume there's a problem with the input valve (it sticks?) and that unit needs to be changed. Does that sound reasonable?

If you decide that valve is the problem, you can buy a new Flair-it valve, but replacing it is a pain in the rear. I would suggest that you remove the lever and cap from the new valve, and pull out the stem and seal. Then put it in the old valve. Much easier that pulling the PEX tubing off of the valve. The valve body is not likely to be bad/damaged.

Probably the easiest repair I ever did on the coach.

The RV park we're staying at actually had an input valve unit. They had it for so long they forgot they had it. And... it had a male end... something I couldn't even find at Camping World in the past. I had no problem removing the old one and installing the new one as is. It took two tries because it leaked after I got it on the first time. I discovered the cone washer in the inside connection was bad, so I replaced it and it seems to work fine now.
