Closet door air lock.
Ours doesn't appear to be working. This is in the top track of the mirrored closet in the bedroom. In the ceiling track are some air lines going to an air solenoid for each door which is labeled HD383187 A plus some specs that I can't read without removing the mirrored doors. Anyone work with this system? Thanks.

You could try using jumper wires to trigger the air solenoid to be sure it operates. If it does, then you'll have to trace the wires and figure out what is supposed to to send the signal. If the solenoid doesn't work, replace it.

I know that several folks have had to adjust the system for the closet doors. The design is such that the solenoid activates when the parking brake is in the off position and the air is released when the parking brake is applied. Mine is not working properly either, need to play with it a bit when I have the time.

Looks like I'll have to climb in the closet and have Janet take the service brake off to see if the plunger comes out. Looks like it pushes against the black wheel on the sliding door.

Todd, I finally found the picture of your door holder, one for each door.

That's it! Thanks for making the effort to search for it, Basil. It appears that the plunger is supposed to extend to stop the black wheel from rotating. I have to determine if the plunger is extending to the wheel and also if things are adjusted properly so the doors stay closed when underway.

The old "picture worth a thousand words". I tried to save pictures of obscure stuff on the coach and identify what it was. Now the problem is where they are in the thousands of pictures on my computer.

Todd,
Just be sure Janet is happy with you BEFORE you climb in the closet, otherwise we might not see you for months!
