After switching to AGM batteries, I removed the unused battery watering system. I gave away the floats but kept the tank which I now use as a coolant recovery tank.

Basil, good job and use of the spare tank. I mounted a universal tank on the wall above and to the left of your tank. I have found that I can add my DCA additive to the recovery tank and when the engine cools the additive is drawn into the cooling system. My recovery tank is about 1/2 full when the engine is hot.
