We all have the 4" hole with the plastic screw cap in a couple of spots on our basement floor. What do you folks use to fill the hole when the power cord or extension cord are in use?
Thanks

I always have a few small towels in that area to wipe off the power cord and hose when stowing them. I just wrap one of these towels around the cord in the hole.

Towels work well--but another idea is to take a piece of plywood 12X5 or so then cut a smaall slot on one end to accommodate the power cord. Keeps the bigger stuff out. Also good to spray the opening/plywood with some bug spray--we managed to pick up an ant colony in NC last year and it took a week or more to chase them thru the coach with a spray can to kill them.

I try to check for ants on anything touching the ground every so often. I have had ants crawl up the mud flaps behind the tires while parked with the air dumped and also across a branch or leaf of a plant touching the coach. I carry a can of bug spray now.

I use two different items to plug the holes while in use with the plastic caps off. In cold weather I use 2" thick foam with a cut out for the cord size in order not to insulate the bays from cold weather. In storage or longer camping durations I use steel wool which mice and rats will not go thru or chew through.
