Just received my tan Suntek dash cover for my soon to be new 2005 coach. I notice that the pattern is said to be for 2002 Alpine coach. I called and she said that would be for 2002 and newer. OK, so I come back to my current 2001 coach and lay it out. It looks like the parts that overlap the front of the dash and lay down around the defroster vents are too big - actually lap up against the bottom of the windshield by a good 1/2 to 3/4 inch.
So for those of you who responded that you have the Sunteks, is the 2002 dash that much different than the 2001? And do yours have a darker tan edging than the cover material itself? My current cover (a custom one) - the edging is a shade darker than the cover itself.
Thanks for any and all thoughts.

dshogman,

My tan Suntek dash cover arrived yesterday and I put it on the dash of our 2006 Alpine coach. I was a light tan ( a little lighter than the vinyl of the dash itself) and it had a light brown edge around it.

The cover fit reasonably well. In some places around the defroster vents and on the sides it was 3/8" long or short. It didn't exactly fit the area above the radio -- was about 1/2" long to the right side of the coach.

It appeared to be a "general" fit; nothing that is a major problem but not an exact fit.

David- The cover I have for my '05 also fits reasonably well, but maybe my expectations and standards aren't as high as other peoples. I do know that my experience with Suntek was that if you aren't satisfied they will try and make it right. The edging on my cover is also slightly darker than the cover. Overall, I'm really happy with the results. I haven't a clue as to whether or not the dash shape has changed from year to year, but I'd be surprised if it has.
