Looking for a dash cover for the new coach. Has anyone tried "Dashboard Covers by Josie" out of Florida?? Would be interested in fit and quality. They say they have a pattern for the Alpine dash.
Thanks

Don't know about the brand you mentioned, but I purchased one about 4 mo. ago from a place in Ca. Might of been through RV Upgrades. I'll check receipts today. It's made specifically for an Alpine. Fits like a glove, and has a great rubberized backing that prevents slipping, but doesn't stain the dash. Several colors available too.

Thanks Rick. I looked at their website and couldn't find one. Hope you can pin down the supplier.

Have you checked with Guaranty in Junction City?
We had the 'Stitch Wizard' (west of Junction City) make up a dash cover in about 5 hours - about $200+.
Guaranty should have the phone # (we misplaced it.)
Also saw dash covers at WRV factory store = you might also try WRV? WRV info. 800-777-4133

Eureka! I have found it. The cover is made by Suntek, 9335 Stevens Road, Santee, CA 92701. 888-834-0764.

I had to order it, however, through the RV Shop @ 877-249-8571. You can see the covers on their website, www.rvshop.com

The specific cover is a Suntek Shurgrip Dash Cover Class A. You can talk to them and order the specific cover for a specific year and model of Alpine.

They aren't cheap, at $214.95 + $15 Shipping, but it is really slick and makes the dash a useful place to put things that won't slip around. My unit for a '05 36' mid-door is pattern #1273, and I ordered it in tan and it is a perfect color match. They also have a couple of other colors.

A side note: The RV Shop and Suntek were excellent to work with, as they originally sent me the wrong pattern and they quickly corrected the order and sent a UPS call tag to send the original one back. No hassles, and everything went very quickly.

Good Luck.

Rick Coleman,

Thanks for letting us know where you got the dashboard cover, its pattern number and color. I called them today and ordered one just like yours for our 06 36MDDS.

Thanks Rick for the referral and testimonial. Ordered mine yesterday afternoon. Have to be ready when I move in on the 18th so the dog can have traction on the dash.
It's my first "accesory" purchase for the new-to-me '05, even before I put any $$ down on the coach!

We had gotten one dash cover (cheaper) that we had to return becuse the top surface was slicker than the original dash and the dog could hardly get a grip at all! Actually, he'd crash into the windshield when he leaped from the driver's seat to the dash. Do the ones from rvshop.com (they call it "polyester fabric") have a surface rough enough for a dog to get a grip?

It's a very tightly woven material and feels much like a thick, smooth fabric. Books and such seem to stay put, but I don't know about how dog "grippy" it is, since my pooch is a 50+ pounder and doesn't spend any time on my dash. If you are going to be at the Hemet Rally you are welcome to have your dog test mine out. If not, I'll bet a call to the vendor would get you a fabric sample free of charge. Can't hurt to make a call. Good luck.

Thanks Rick. My little guy is only 10 lbs so I don't think it will be a problem. The material on the dash in my present coach is pretty smooth and he has no problems running back and forth when the big dogs go by.
