i have a alpine with dead slide motor and of course i need it for my front end slide in order to fuel up any help besides get a new electric motor

Have you tried to put voltage to the motor itself if so and it burned out then the manual way to open it enough to fuel up don't you have fillers on both sides

You didn't say what year your alpine was. I just repaired the motor on my 2001 alpine. I removed it from the pump unit without any fluid loss and took it to a auto starter/alternator rebuilder and had it repaired for 75.00. There are two bolts from below inside the wheel well that hold assembly down and also ground motor. Removing these two will allow the motor/pump/tank to rotate to remove motor. Take a volt meter at check battery lead for power if there is incoming power, have someone depress gen slide switch and check is power is getting past all three relays, and then check for power at battery lead on back of motor. If power at motor lead. Then indicators are bad motor. Moral time is about 1 hour, including taking pictures of small wire on relays to make sure they are reinstalled in correct locations.
