I have had intermitant problems with the heater defroster fan motor on my 2001 Alpine. It will run sometimes and then at other times will not even turn on. Any ideas?

Don't know if this will help. Had the same problem with our 01. The negative wire was fastened to the fan housing. Failure was caused by bad connection there' the paint under the screw was causing the problem. Scraped the paint off for a good connection.so far so good. 01 MDS 36' Alpine
