Desert Rat 2019--now its too late!

OK--we are in the desert and having a great time with over 70 coaches in attendance. The weather has been outstanding and our members are having a blast learning about their Alpines, enjoying super meals, renewing old friendships and make many new ones. Check out the pictures from the Jeep trip--the scenery was amazing!!!!

In the first pic someone (the silver/white jeep) already made it to Nellie E’s and had a few?

Glad to see such a large turn out, someone is doing something right!

….nope--no obvious impact from the shut-down on BLM properties--business as usual in the desert....

DESERT RAT RALLY 2009, REMEMBER THIS ONE? Sue & I enjoyed 11 DRRs over the years. Really miss being there. We always spent a week or so afterwards with friends. It can be done without filling the fresh water tank but takes a lot of deodorant.

Desert Rat 2019--now its too late!

I do find it odd that there were over 70 Alpine's at Desert Rat and not one of them posted a single photo of the Alpine Coach grouping. To busy having fun I guess! Wish we could have been there.

I know for a fact that next year's host will be bringing a drone to get a group shot

I suspect next year's DRR will be even bigger and better but in the mean time.....here is a fly over of our next door neighbor's site. You can see our DRR tent and all those beautiful Alpines lined up around the tent.....enjoy.
