After the initial few months of service we were not impressed with the oem dinette chairs supplied with our coach although they are just as good or better than oem chairs in other sob coaches. So the Right brain went dumpster diving and came up with a couple of matching captain style dinette chairs. Right brain re-upholstered them to match and Left brain swapped them out with the oem chairs. Heck of a lot more comfortable.

Those and many other folding chairs are made by Stakmore. Check out www.DiningRoomsDirect.com .

You are indeed very gental. This is not the first time I or DW has paid too much at Touch Of Class. At least this time it's only about 20% due to a sale. I guess were slow learners.
Thanks for not rubbing my nose in it.
Should have asked first.

Thanks for the info on the chairs.. have added some more wood screws that actually have threads on them and waiting for the mfg to reply about replacement but they are ok for now.. they are not happy with WRV sticking them after going out of business they said..

The chairs arrived today and they are really quite nice. They are sturdy and don't feel at all like folding chairs when sitting on them. All in all were quite happy. Just wish we'd found them at the lower price.

I just picked up two Stakmore Slat Back Folding Chairs (same as shown above) to replace the poorly designed folding chairs in our 2000 Alpine.
I had read this thread before and wanted to see the Stakmore chairs in person, but had not yet gone to the local store listed on the Stakmore website.
Today, I was shocked to see a pallet of the Stakmore chairs at COSTCO !!!
They have the cherry finish, which goes great with our dark stained ash woodwork in the coach, and a beige seat cushion.
I'm leaving the best for last ... $30 each !!! Get'em while you can!

"Well hello Mister Fancy Pants"!
I may have paid too much, but I sure got them for more money.
What a find, I hope everyone who needs them can take advantage of your aleartness. I still reccomend them. They don't fold flat enough to store under the matress but we found room in the closet.
WTG Jeff and thanks for sharing.
