We just got on standard Direct TV at home, to may trees for HD reception.
I have an extra dish I want to use on a tripod with the motor home.
Question: the dish has a place for (2) cables, do I only run one cable to the receiver to get reception, if I need both cables, where does the other one hook too.
This is my first dealings with satellite.

Only one cable is needed.

The second cable is for a second receiver or a DVR with two tuners.
