All,
I have the drain master system in my coach (APEX 40MDTS), and the hose has several holes in it from being stepped on, and who know what else. It was this way when we got the coach, (except the stepped on part - I did that at night) and I have been nursing it along.

So I found the manual, sent them an e-mail, and I was asked to post their web link on the forum, and let everyone know that they are still in business, will be moving 1/2 mile from their present location in about a week (Hollister, CA), and I received excellent customer service when we connected up. Actually the e-mail reply was waiting in my in box when I turned on the PC this morning, so that was quick.

They have a new better drain hose, which the gentleman said you could drive a truck over and it would not get hurt. We are going near their location on our way south, so I am going to stop and pick up one, and replace my holey one. For my coach the cost is 128 dollars, but the hose is guarenteed for life and like I mentioned "he said you can drive a truck over it and it will be fine”. They want a weeks’ notice if you are going to pickup from them.

I am not sure if they make a hose for the regular outfitted coaches with the 3" twist lock connection. Give them a ring, or send an e-mail to find out.

Information for all alpine owners.

Interesting system.. I bookmarked for later investigation.. Thanks

The page you took me to said "Adapts your existing bayonet system to cam lock" which,, answers your "do they make" question.

Good, because they responded to my e-mail quick and when we hooked up via phone the person I talked to was very nice.

UPDATE - I ordered the new hose, and followed the directions in the manual, and the attached information with the new hose, and wow, it's nice not to get xxxxx stuff all over the hands when dumping the sewer now. The new hose costs me 138.00 and change w/tax. It was very easy to change out the old hose with the new one, and WRV actually plumbed this in correctly. I am very pleased with the way it turned out. The new hose color is also very visible even at night in the dark, some kind of turquoise material which might glow.
