Drawer Latch

For the last two years I have been contemplating changing the drawer slides on my Alpine because when you close a drawer it latches so hard that you have to nearly pull the handle off to open the drawer.

If you also have this problem, this note is for you too.

When you open a drawer there is toggle on the latch in the cabinet that you can push with your finger and it disables the latch.

When you are ready to travel again remember to pry the toggles back so that the latches work again. I used a plastic stick to turn the toggle latch back on.

You can find those latches in different 'pounds of pull' at Amazon, much cheaper there as opposed to the R.V. parts stores.
