It seems pretty obvious that the bulk of the Alpine owners appear to be from Texas and west of that. Being in PA I find a great lack of conversation from any Easterners. I know there is a club but seldom do I ever hear any comments. Either there are very few owners or there coaches are perfect. (I doubt that)How about so reports from some of the Eastern folks.

Hi Ted, I'm one of the few in the east. Va. Beach. VA. and my coach is perfect. HA HA. It's an '03 and got all the bugs out, Knock on wood. Something's going to go wrong now that I said that. I'm glad to hear there is someone else in the east.

Hello Ted,

We're from FL. Got our '02 38FDDS from a private party in Nov '04. We love it. Haven't had any major problems, but lately seem to have a gremlin playing havoc with a few electrical connections. Latest issue is a leak somewhere around the black tank flush system. Water gushes out below when flush is used. Haven't had a chance to check it out. Just noticed it when we came home last week. DH not feeling well right now so it will have to wait. Don't have an Alpine dealer around except LaMesa in Tampa and they won't even make an appointment for us. Can't even take care of the new coaches they've sold with their limited service center, I've heard. Used Coach Care for maintenance stuff with excellent service.

Met a few Alpine East folks at a couple FMCA rallies. They are real swell people. We were so looking forward to going to the Alpine East rally in Hiawassee, GA Oct 19-23, but DH has health issues that are going to keep us home for a little while. He's hoping to make an Internet by Satellite rally in Nov at the Bushnell Escapees Park, if he can get a week without dr appts.

You should look into the Hiawassee rally if you can. Sounds like a great time and good way to connect with other Alpiners.
