You might do this but expect to burn it up quickly. The EB are a couple of brake shoes that clamp onto the driveline. It is designed to hold the coach at stop but not to stop the coach. As was mentioned previously, downshifting the transmission is far superior. Even better is using your engine break for downhill and servicing the breaks on a regular basis to ensure they do not fail.
