When I bought my Alpine about 1 year ago, I stumbled across the ACA website and this forum. Best thing I ever did.

Anyway, in the first few days of lurking around this forum, someone noticed that EM had passed the 1000 posts milestone.

In the last week, EM passed the 2000 post milestone. Wow! More importantly, EM's posts are so much more valuable that a typical post, that in reality 1 of his posts is equal to like 10 of anyone else's.

Of course, we all owe him a deep debt of gratitude for his dogged persistence in getting a useful solution to the steering box problem. I am absolutely certain that he has saved at least one life by not only helping identify the problem but providing a solution. I don't even want to imagine what would happen with a steering failure at 70 mph.

Thanks EM. Here's to your next 1000 helpful posts.

Vote for Mike!

As I write this and reflect upon the IRV mission statement at the top of my screen, it occurs to me that Mike reflects the very essence of the words.

Thank you Mike.

We are all in your debt. You have helped every one of us in many ways and have eased the trama of being an orphan.

I thought everyone knew that there really is no Engineermike. Those are computer generated answers that you see on the forum. No human could have all that stuff in their head.

Thanks Mike

We also want to express our gratitude to Engineer Mike. We are so grateful for identification, notification (thanks also the Wayne Routhier for this), and a great solution for the steering box issue. And then for getting a kit to us so quickly! We are much happier knowing we have the stabilizer in place.

bow down (we are not worthy)

Audrey (& John)

That might be true but then he'd design a new entry, with improvements!
