Jerry, I agree with you, we have not heard anything from "Engineer Mike" for sometime. His input was quite valuable.

Rumors I went the way of Saddam are greatly exagerated. Wayne pegged it. Home now. Nice siesta.

We bought a Hurricane-John-wrecked house in Mulege, 630 miles into Baja and are revamping it (7'8" of river water/mud went thru the 13'6" sliding glass door into the house; wee bit of damage). It came with a separable river-front RV lot complete with shop building with plumbing, patio slab, and full ramada for rig & patio. When we sell the house, guess who gets to keep the RV lot? But I gotta resolve the internet access. I can live w/out TV, but IRV2? No way.

We have all the sheetrock wrecked out, termites fumigated to death, the inside powerwashed and painted for mold & mildew, and the electrical overhauled & tested. Next comes new greenboard thruout & cabinets. Then if you don't want to bring your Alpine to Baja, you can still visit us

Thanks for thinking kindly of us.

Welcome back . We have been missing your conversations.
Even if I have to read them twice, with a dictionary by my side .

Tom, I'm right there with you on trying to figure out what Mike is talking about. But, then, I'm just a girl (I wish), so what do I know?!

I do always get something helpful out of Mike's comments, so I, too, am glad he is back!

Mike, it certainly is nice to know that you are okay and back with the living. I have never realized how intelligent Tom is until his comment that he had to read your comments only twice. I sit sometimes with a group in my office (this includes elect eng., mech eng., chem eng. and some common people just like me. We usually take your comments home, study them and have a meeting about them the following day. It is much more fun than working.
In all sincerity it's nice to have you back. You have been missed

Ted, Gail, Tom-
Thanks for the kind comments, and the more helpful expository on methods of digestion. As a result of those and a patriotic fervor I have decided to stop posting. I don't think the national economy can take the productivity hit.
Good night and good luck. EMike

Okay, EMike, so if you won't post here anymore, will you at least come to our SoCal rally in Las Vegas next month so we can meet you? Or will you be at Quartzsite this week?

Gail

Sorry but due to the Baja acquisition & overhaul we are kinda booked for the next coupla months. Would have loved to hit both rallies otherwise.
We are still planning to lead a Baja caravan ~November for those that are interested . I've been scouting campgrounds and cooking up activities on our southward jaunts so we should have a nice adventure in old Mexico for those who join us.

That's great news about the Baja caravan! I'll have to start working on John now, as I would dearly love to join your caravan. So, count us in...I'll make it happen.

Thanks!! Gail
