I am having some capacity issues with the batteries on my Apex and would like to attempt to equalize them the next opportunity. The problem I have is, how do I perform that task with the Silverleaf? I have not yet found a screen that lets me change any of the battery charge settings or start an equalization charge procedure theu the inverter/charger. I see on the Inverter a light for equalization, so I know it is possible, but I have yet to figure out the control segment of this thing.

If you have flooded batteries instead of AGM you should be able to add "equalization" under the Inverter settings. Make sure installer code is set at 42. Our AGM setting won't let us turn on "load sense" or "equalization" on the inverter (it is either the silverleaf or the inverter that prevents it).

I think you will find the procedure to Equalize Batteries in the Inverter Manual. I went on line last week and printed some things from the online manual for Xantrex and I think I saw it there.
