Evan coolant

Has anyone ever used EVAN COOLANT in their 400ISL?? If so what is your opinion?

Is this stuff new? I had not heard of waterless coolant. They are proud of it @ $47.95 a gallon!

Doesn't tempt me. 12 gallons @ $47.95 I don't think so.

I've used Evans in various vehicles over the years. Mostly those that really tax the cooling systems.

First thing I ever used it in was a Honda Goldwing. Made a significant improvement in stop and go traffic. Fans rarely kicked on after the changeover. When I bought a Valkyrie I switched it out as well.

I currently run it in my little autocross racer. Running a turbo 4 cyl at high boost at engine redline and then shutting down was causing some serious heat related issues. After switching the engine rarely goes over 200 degrees.

The cost is high, but it is a lifetime coolant and you can run hotter (more power) without detonation. I personally have not run it with a diesel but would consider it for one I intended to keep a long time.
