Evidently NoMo Motosat

Evidently there is no more Motosat. The customer service number in the user guide has been disconnected. Does any one know if someone can still program or update a Nomad 2 box. My dish will not lock onto a satellite, and I keep trying to program the box for Directv as per the user guide and doing the self test, which indicate OK, but no cigar. Something must be amiss in the Nomad 2 box. It has a maintenance port on the back, so I assume that it can be updated or reprogrammed.
I'm in clear skies and no trees. All my neighbors are locked onto the satellite, so it is not a coverage issue, and when I first got here I had TV, shouldn't have moved the coach.

I think there are several ex-motosat dealers that can help you out. Here in Houston I believe Sats2Go can

Contact RF Mogul.

They are the founders, engineers, developer and executives of the original MotoSAT.
Adios, Dirk - '84 Real Lite Truck Camper, '86 Wilderness Cimarron TT, previously 4 years as a fulltimer in a '07 DSDP

No trees were harmed in the transmission of this message, but millions of electrons were temporarily inconvenienced.

Those of us with 'Executive' MotoSat box can no longer use Direct TV's new receiver which will soon be required. Apparently no low speed data port on the new Direct TV receiver.
Hope someone out there has a work around so that we can keep the MotoSat equipment.

You will probably be trading your MH long before your present receiver will no long receive DTV channels years from now.
