Looking at extended warranties for our new 34 Alpine. Six to $9,000 through United States Warranty seems high considering the warranty that comes with the coach. Your thoughts and recommendations are appreciated.

We got it from Good Sams. We have had so many problems in Warranty, felt foolship not to get it. Good Sams also has full replacement. Since we almost burned to the ground yesterday, we are happy we have it. We have our RV, Tow car, Road Assistance and Extended Warranty with them.

If you coach is new, you shouldn't need an extended warranty until the WRV runs out. We also got an extended warranty with Good Sam. It runs about $550 a year and has a $500 deductable.

See Here for some additional discussion on X-Warranties.

The current 3-year warranty on Alpines is a good one (some have only a year), tho the installed components (TV, fridge, furnace, water pump...) are not covered other than their manufacturer's warranties IIRC. CW offered us an extended warranty for ~$1,600/year for 5 years if we bought the warranty w/in 6 months of taking delivery & paid it continuously. I figger'd that was in the neighborhood of high, and we didn't bite.
