Fan Hydraulics

Does any one have the schematics for fan, p/s & brake hyds.system. Does any one know if the thermal switch on the radiator is normaly open or closed. The return lines for fan & brake system is piped into the drain port of the filter canister. This is dumping oil back in to the filtered side & not into the inlet in the center of the canister. The center / inlet is the only one going to the filter. With theoil going in to the drain bypassing the filters could cause some major damage to the hyd. pump. Was there a problem with not enough return area on the inlet port. If this is the case I can always add another filter & plumb it into the drain port. Im curious to see if any one else has this same plumbing arrangement.

Bill, I had an 2002 Alpine and it was piped the same way. I remember reading somewhere that other Alpines were the same, at least until the 08 model with the new emissions engine. My 08 has the old ISL 400 and I think it's the same.
