If the cap cracks so as to leak, it'd be penny wise & pound foolish to let it ride. If it is a developing situation, I'm thinking watching it closely is wise so that the repair comes when it will thereafter be permanent. That's my plan anyway.

Has this roof issue been pertinent to a particular year, length, weather whatever? It seems various years haved popped up but no particular favorites. Is that the way the rest of you folks see this problem?

I think that I had it develop after I had my '02 34fdds for a while, but it was minor and I never repaired it. When I got the present coach, I checked carefully before I took delivery and there was none. After about 9 months the present coach developed some over the entry door, that was the only repair that was done when they shut down. I haven't seen any more.

Like I said before, this was the third fix and the first two were the conventional patch and match. This time I wanted it fixed so that it would never show up again. But remember mine was cracked to the point that the roof was weather compromised. If the ripples are not extreme and cracked then...your choice.

Ted,

I think our two coaches are fairly close together in mfg #( 75404). Do you have any of the ripples?

Jerry, my coach is 75338 so we are reasonably close, but very quietly, no I do not have any ripples as yet. I am not looking forward to any. Maybe it is a west coast & south of the border type of disease.

Ted,
Come visit the "Left Coast" and I'll see if I can transfer the ripple virus to your coach.

I have some on the left front that have been there since day 1. They have not got any worse so I have just learned to live with them. Ted my coach build is 75330 just a few before yours.
