Filter thingee

I have a 2006 Alpine 40 with 4 slides in the propane compartment is a screw on filter with two copper pipes to it. I think it may be for the hydraulics. Anybody got a better guess. If it is and i change it what type (brand) fluid should be added to it.

thanks in advance
Happy rv'n
Larry

Larry- yes, that's the fuel filter for the HHot. WRV thought it should be in a compartment where a fuel drip when changing the filter would not cause a problem. the "copper" lines are not copper, but brown colored PEX type plastic tubing. You can put a zip-lock around the filter, spin it off into the bag, zip the bag shut, and spin on a new filter and shouldn't make much of a mess.
