I am thinking a eye screws on either side with a flat bungee cord stretched across the TV for travel.

Just a different idea if you have the room and convert the space above to storage.

I just updated my thread I started a bit ago here Replacing front TV of the installation of our new 39" Samsung LED.

Please be advised that changing out the older TV (I presume its an older tube-type) will probably also entail some other electronic changes. It did when I updated my 2003 FDDS to a Sony flat screen.

I presume you have the DHS amp/surround sound system? You can tell by looking at the right side of the console and finding the 2"x3" black panel with a button switch.
