The common school of thought is that sealed dual pane windows cannot be repaired, they need to be replaced.

However, this is not true. I had a couple fog up on my '07 Bus and my dealer, http://www.kingscampers.com took them out, gave them to a local vendor who takes them apart, repairs the seal, vacuums them out, and refills with inert gas. They work great and hold up well after that. Kings works on any brand coach but they're up in Wisconsin, which is probably not nearby for most of you.

However, if they can do it, I'm sure there are others who can repair your windows nearby you rather than having to replace window panes.

Harold's number is good, contact is Farida at extension 257. She works at the Hehr plant in Los Angeles.

When I replaced a window on my 2004, I had to coordinate with the distributor to get the part number, which for a 2004 FDDS, first glazed fixed window behind the driver was:

5602-00-281-687-000-9

Distributor was:
http://www.buccaneermfg.com/
Contact: Tawnie Elam 800-888-4133

Maker was:
http://www.hehrintl.com/index.htm

I was able to "will call" the window at the Los Angeles plant, where it was made.

It might be a worthy effort to "de-code" or establish a part number listing for all Hehr windows across the model years, for our tech library.

FYI
ATTENTION ALPINE OWNERS WITH SE-GE Windows

They will not cover any fogged windows as they claim ther warranty was with WRV (not the consumer) and they do not acknowledge the fogging as a life saftey. I will pursue this vigoriously through other avenues. If anyone has had positive results aftwer WRV closing pls let me know

Jim

WRV shipped me replacement windows a couple of months ago. When I got around to replacing the fogged up SE-GI windows I found they were not exactly the same. The original SE-GI windows have a 3" radius on the corners but the replacement windows have a 2-1/2" radius. As a consequence the replacement window just barely covers the opening, so I elected to leave the originals in place fearing the replacements may become a leak problem. So if anyone needs replacement windows (driver side window, entrance door window, co-pilot side window) with a 2-1/2" corner radius, let me know and maybe we can make an arrangement.
