Foggy windows
I failed to mention to Bob and Cindy that we too had four windows that were foggy and was advised that this is common with dual-pane glass from 5-10 years old.
On Dealer advise we had A-1 Glass of Eugene (Springfield) repair them.
They did an excellent job and highly recommend them.
They also have a facility in Phoenix.
Happy Trails....

I just wanted to make one comment about rv windows repairs. I admit, I know nothing about other companies that repair windows. I would think all of them look good when they are first repaired, but in my opinion, it would be how long the repair lasts, is most important to me. The only company I have used Dave Root RV Glass Repair. He has 3 year warranty. All my original WRV seals have failed now. I have had Dave repair all of them at different times as the WRV windows failed. The first 3 that failed, Dave fixed in November 2010 and they are still as good new.

Dave Roots came up from Bend one year ago and fixed 10 windows, they started around 7am and finished around 5pm. This past Thursday he drove up from Bend again to fix the driver side window that had been repaired by someone out of Junction City a few days before I picked up my coach 2 years ago from Country Coach. Dave is the go to guy when it comes to foggy windows

Unfortunately, I think it's just the nature of the beast and the luck of the draw. Dave Root first repaired some of our windows in 2010, 5 years after we purchased the coach. He repaired others in 2012. Since then a couple of the repaired windows have had to be redone.
I don't fault Dave for the failures as I think he does a very thorough and consientious job and has worked with us to fairly repair the redone windows. I would not hesitate to recommend Dave, but be prepared to have repeated failures at some point in the future. Again, nature of the beast.
By the was, I think Dave Roots warranty is 2 years not 3 as stated above but I'm not positive of that figure.

We were speaking with a repair tech at RV Glass about our foggy windows. He said the reason they fog is because the panes of glass are too close together. Eventually they will all fail and when repaired they will eventually fail again. It's not a fix once then done situation.

We have customers that drive 3000 miles to have us work on their windows, that says a lot about what we do and how we back up our product with a three year warranty.

We have a few windows fogging on our coach now.
How is the price for repair compared to a new window?
I spec'd the driver front from Hehr for $576 a few years ago. Gave them the tag off the window and they knew exactly what I had.

RVFogDR charges $200 per window, EXCEPT the drivers, which is $300.

I've had Dave Root fix several windows and have in writing that the warranty is 3 years.

Well, the '09 Magna we just bought has two windows bad now. One is the window in the door and it's pretty large. I suspect it'll be $300 for it. The other is a slider and I might do that one myself but the cost of the kit is more than having them do it so maybe not.

When I talked to Dave when he first fixed my windows, he said when the windows were manufactured, they ran them through a window washer. To get good seal, they would have to be really clean, which he is very through. The second item, is the product used to seal the windows, which he changed to a different product. What I look for is quality of workmanship and using good products. On his current website dated 2015, he still offers 3 year warranty.

I had my 2000 Alpine with HEHR windows for 10 years and never had any fogged windows. When I got my 2007 with SEGI windows they all failed within 3-5 years. The safety glass is the same in all windows, so to me it seems like there is problem in how they were cleaned and sealed.

We have both SEGI and HEHR and they are both fogging.
