Freedom 458 Amp/Hour Settings

I know I saw a thread here at one time, but I can't find it. Please excuse my redundancy.

Just replaced our four eight year old Trojan T-105's. The amp hour rating is 225 so I have 900 total AHs.

I thought I read the Freedom 458 would best be set at 600 AH and not 800 AH. I had the old batteries set at 600 AH....seemed to work

Experts?

4 T 105's would be 450 amp-hrs AT 12 VDC.

Yes, 900 if all in parallel AT 6 VDC, but that is not what you have.

Thanks! I thought that number seemed high. Never could remember parallel and series. Two in parallel and then series, or vice versa?
Guess I had better drop the charger to 400.
