I know I have seen this before but searched and could not find it. Please tell us how to adjust the front end generator slide again. Thanks in advance

I see by your profile that you have a 2002 36ft--suggest adding this info to your std msg format so folks will know model and year of your Alpine. Your 2002 has a hydraulic genset slide [similar to your large room slide]. For up and down, there are two allen set=screw adjusters at the front ends of the hydraulic rams. Loosen the lock nut on the set-screw and turn it up or down with a large allen wrench/driver, then tighten lock nut. Side to side is a different issue with 8 large bolts holding the cap pipe-frame to the slide arm ends--may or may not be enough slack in these bolts to affect much adjustment.

We did a "quick fix" for the sensor button. We put a round head bolt in the slide so when it closes it depresses the sensor button all the way. We were having issues where the alarm would go off when coming to a stop going downhill. Works like a charm and you can adjust if needed.

You can also find round black rubber stick-on's at hardware stores like Lowe's, Ace, etc. similar to the one used for the front door button (inside the hinge). If necessary, you could stack the stick-on's for greater thickness.
