Bob- Not exactly. I have never used roof air while on the road; if I needed that I'd run the gen. For any other 110 load while driving (or parked for lunch for that matter) I'd use the inverter, except I suppose if the gen was due for exercising.

Theoretically the inverter could handle 1 AC while driving and the alternator might be able to keep the bats up. But with out a re-wire it is not possible, but worth investigating. It should be more cost effective to let the ISL provide the energy VS the gen.
