As the filler pipe is parallel to the ground it is easy for the fuel to flow up the pipe and press hard against the cap when braking or going down a steep hill.
The cap only had four numbers and I believe they were 2426. I bought a new cap that looked exactly like the old cap and it worked for about one fill up. Does anyone know exactly what cap WRV used on the fuel filler during chassis production in late 2002? While searching the Internet It kind of lead me to believe it was from some model of a 2003 Honda.
I suggest you contact WRV.
Using the VIN number of your coach they should be able to tell you what fuel cap will fit the fuel filler on your particular coach.
