Where do I find the Lowell Potvin who makes and sells (~$45) the furnace modification package, reported to lower noise by about 50 %?

To hrhuggie and Monaco Mama,
Thanks for the info. I'll use Google Earth to see which of the two Lowell Potvin's are in Michigan's UP (both, maybe?). Too late to call back there tonight. I'll try the two numbers tomorrow. Thanks so much.

So Gary....are you going to talk to Lowell and report back to us, or do we call him individually? My furnace sounds like I must be at the base of Niagra Falls. Your original post headed off mine for advice on how to quiet my furnace. Thanks!

Hi Rick,
I emailed Lowell and received a reply this morning. He said he only had one more kit in stock, so I immediately emailed him and asked for it to be shipped to me. His email is:
camplittlecreek@aol.com
Maybe if you email him, he will be willing to fabricate another kit for you. I'm looking forward to "quieting the falls" when the kit is installed.

I am very interested in this as well. I just got a 34 FDDS and the furnace is much louder then I expected.

Gary- Is the kit supposed to quiet the electric heater or the propane fueled furnace?

Thanks, Rick

Gary,

I'm interested as well. The furnace in my 2006 36FDDS sound like a jet engine!

Hi Again Rick,
I did not reach Lowell himself by phone, but talked to his wife. My understanding is the kit is for quieting the propane fired furnace. It really roars in my coach when working - need to turn up the TV volume just to hear! I am eagerly awaiting the kit arrival so I can get it installed and welcome some peace when the furnace is running.

Gary, I'm also interested in the outcome, as well as the components in the kit; and the cost.

I have a vague recollection that Lowell uses some electronic components to "slow" the motor speed along with some sound insulation....?
