we had a new thermostat installed in our 2006 36' alpine. the refer is a side by side. during the installation it appears that a fuse was blown. we cannot find a fuse anywhere. there is no mention of it in any paper work that we have. does anybody know where it is.
thank you.

I cannot say for sure where your fuse is but our's had a fuse located at the top of the bay over the battery. If like ours, it is a chintzy thing and may be hidden inside the split plastic cable-wrap conduit.
I replaced the fuse-holder with a water-tight unit and things have been fine since.

The best I can remember from our 2002, there are 2 fuses inside the control box on the back of the fridge.

In our early '03 36FDDS there is a 6 position fuse block at the top of the rear of the battery compartment. The refer fuse was replaced with a circuit breaker external to the fuse block because the fuse block contacts were corroded. I am going to replace the fuse block with a new one since it also has the fuse for the AC control circuits. Fuse block and plug in circuit breakers are available from AutoZone.
