GE Advantium Oven Door does not latch tight.

I know we all secure things in rv's before we travel. One thing that I never removed was the round glass shelf in the microwave. I had to make a stop on a freeway exit ramp on the shoulder with a fairly large hole in it from the trucks. Even though I went easy through it, it rocked the MH enough for the shelf to push the door open and roll out and hit the removable counter top on the stove ended up breaking the one piece into six pieces. The glass shelf did not break. I tried to see Aubrey's RV had the stove top piece and they did not. I had some Amazing Goop glue from HD and glued all six pieces back together and it came out better than I thought. Used some emery cloth to sand the edges so I could get it fit. She removes the shelf every time now!

Not everybody drives like I do according my wife, but I just thought I would throw this out.

I used my glass disc to cover the boom unit under the sofa, so I could hear the TV. Every once in a while EngineerAnnie asks me to fish it out, and I obligingly do.

When you have a little woodshop time, make your wife a bamboo cutting board cover for the stove.
