Gen only starts outside???

Neither of the indoor switches will start the generator. It was serviced last month and the tech may have jarred something loose. But can't reach him till Monday. Anyone have any suggestions on where to look for the connection that may be loose or not connected.
Thanks.

Hi David
I don't know if this will help you but I had the same thing happen on my 07 Allegro Fred with a 6000 Onan Gen.
When I got it back after service I could not use the inside switch to start or stop the gen set and no on indicator light as well.
I got under the gen after I slid it out and found out that the umbical cord from the gen to the inside switch has a connector that was squashed because it was not tucked out of the way when the gen was slid back in.
I finally got some connectors and was very careful how I wired it correctly to each terminal and now it works fine. My cord was coming out of the gen on the upper left side on the back of the gen and the connector was about two feet away on the umbilical cord
Hope this helps you
George

David, check all of the connections when you pull out the sliding drawer. It frequently will pull a connection apart when it is pulled out hard. Take the panel off of the PS and you should be able to access that cable connection which frequently pulls apart. Worth a try.

Thanks to all for the suggestions - first thing I tried was the switch in the drawer - all connections tight.
BUT, yesterday while fueling on the left side (which I rarely do) I noticed a plug near the right front top corner of the gen box just hanging there. Above it about a foot away hanging from the front slide looked to be the other half of the connector. Didn't do anything about it then but will today. I'm thinking this is the connector that the tech forgot to reconnect.
