2002 36fdds The alarm sounds when you use the brakes and when you let the brakes off it goes off. Not sure is there adjustment. Thanks

Have to assume its just the front slide cap not being fully closed and not a wiring issue. The indicator switch/button is on the front cab, above the fuel fill. There are a number of adjustments where the front genset cap is attached to the genset slide arms. Need to check fit and trim of cap first, then look at whether the alarm button to make sure it is intact and making proper contact with the slide cap when it is closed.

FWIW ... The front slide alarm was quite sensitive on my coach. I would barely press the rocker switch when the alarm sounded. And, forgetting to hold the rocker switch for about 4 - extra seconds AFTER the alarm goes out resulted in eventual creeping thus sounding the alarm unexpectedly. I added a stick-on round rubber spacer to the point at which the alarm button presses against the front cap surface. Much better now! You still need to hold the rocker switch for a few extra seconds to make sure it stays under pressure.

On our 2005 the gen slide sensor is on the passengers side. I have seen where the switch comes loose. Find your switch and see if it is tight and find out how sensitive it is then if necessary add spacers.

You might also try lubing the alignment pins on the front cap. Mine were binding just a little bit, keeping the cap from properly seating all the way. Lubing the pins with the silicone I use for the tow bar fixed it.

Thanks everyone Husband pulled open gen slide it already had the rubber spacer that had slipped. Put back where it needed to be and its all fixed. Thanks again
