Generator Slide O/S

I'm having problems with the Gen Slide, no power to the motor. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the slide?

You will need to tell us what model year/what kind of slide you have.

Alpine used both direct electric motor and electrically powered hydraulic (HWH) generator slides.

I was having intermittent trouble with my Gen slide switch. I had to play around with it to get it to work. I took it out and cleaned the contacts and applied electronic contact spray to both parts. It now works great.

I see from your profile you have a 2004. I believe you should have an electric motor on the genny slide. If so I would start with the switch in the center console, WRV has a known issue with the wiring to that console, usually the wire was too short and breaks, check the switch for broken, shorted wires.

Generator Slide

Thanks for your assistance. We were able to locate the problem, the wire for the slide had pulled out of the loom at the coupling. We replaced the wire, applied electrical lube, and removed the coupling from the firewall. This gave us additional length on the wire loom. We're sliding now and I can fill up with fuel!

Thank you for your help!
