Glendinning Power Reel

My Glendinning power reel died. It blew the 20 amp fuse, which I replaced, I have 12.9 volts to the relay box, when I move the in/out switch, I can hear and feel clicking in the relay box, but it won't engage the motor. Does anyone have any troubleshooting ideas? I don't know if the motor died, or the position limit switches died, or if something in the relay box took a sht. I've never had my cord completely out, which I noticed on the Glendinning manual you are suppose to do once a year.

Guess I would first double-check cable guide rolls and the auto shut off rolls to make sure they are all back in their ops position. Could be the motor but need to make sure the alignment and safety rollers arent interferring with reel ops.....
PS--suspect the once a year full out is to work out any kinks or binds that may have worked their way in the cable.

Did you get your CM7 repaired. I'm having the same problem.

I did. I found a trouble shooting guide on the Glendinning web site. Followed the procedure and found out that one of my relays had gone bad. I tried to see if I could get the relay box open to replace the shorted relay, but they are sealed very tight. The new pricey relay box solved the problem.
