Our Coach is back at the Dealer Again. When John was replacing some loose weatherstip under our living room slide he noticed something that was not right. We have the type slide that goes out then drops down into place to make the floor flat. There is a block or ramp type thing that it rolls over to get up and down the ramp "so to speak", and that block is broken. It is still in place but if falls out, (as the HWH rep said it may), we would be in a real fix as one side would not get over the ramp and it could not go in.

So, a long story, after tons of phone calls to WRV, it was determined that the entire slide has to be removed to put the new block in. (Scary). WRV is amazing, they seem to always agree. We are so lucky, our one year warranty is up next week. We are wondering if our coach may have been one of the first 2004s off the line since we seem to have had so many problems.

Anyway, back to the Camera. We got a reference (from RV net forum) to RVcams.com
http://www.rvcams.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTG...ARVS&Category_Code=1

to buy the Voyager Tri View camera. They have a web site but John called and talked to Tim direct. He will "deal" on the price too. We received the camera, 75 foot of cable, two color side cameras etc. yesterday.
After installation we will let you know how it goes. We plan to leave the camera that is there now in place. The new camera will give the wide rear view (color) that is just like looking out the front windshield.
Every thing is well labeled and all connections are really neat. John has already added extra side signal turn lights and it was easy to tap into the turn signal wiring. We will run the rear view cable under the chasis and up the back on the inside. So, will have to wait till we get our Coach back next week to get started.

Also, we are going to add two more AC vents in the living room and two spot light reading lights. Will post on thoes too. Wish I knew how to post photos, maybe some one could tell me how.

Lana: I don't believe anyone ever answered your question about posting photos on this forum. Unfortunately, there is no way to post a photo directly to your message so that everyone can see your photo(s).

What you must do is (1) post your photo(s) on a public website, then (2) insert the Image URL (the website location of your photo) in your message.

For the first step, you can post your photo on your own website or, as Rebelsbeach mentions below, you can post at the iRV2 Photo Page. Or you could send me an email (norm.duncan@gmail.com) and attach your photo or photos. I will send the Image URL back to you. With all approaches try to keep the file size below 100K and the photo no more than 600 pixels wide.

The second step is similar to inserting a little happy face. When you reach the point in your message where you want your first photo-- you click on the image icon "Display Image" (mouseover the buttons and you will find it) and then insert the Image URL. Then all of us can see your photos as you improve your coach.

Norm

Hey Norm.....Here at iRV2 we have our OWN photo forum that only requires you to "join" with a log in and password...Many people use their very same login and password.

HERE is the link to the iRV2 Photo Gallery...

No need to email anyone any pictures, you can simply upload them to your very own "member gallery" right here on iRV2.

Thanks for your help in offering to upload the pictures for other memebers as that's a real nice gesture, I just wanted to save a few steps and allow them the chance to learn how to do it themselves.

Also wanted to make sure we were promoting our "own" photo gallery too...

THANKS for the link back to iRV2 on your web page!!
