heater hose replacements by WRV?

Did WRV ever replace the rubber heater hoses with proper hoses that don't rupture like Teflon or what ever they are, some colored red, blue, etc? My extended warranty would cover it if they ever did a replacement. Mine is a 2008 and has ruptured twice and I have an addendum on my contract that would cover it if WRV did a replacement. if not is on me for about $1300 . I would need proof that they did a replacement of the hoses. Mel

Other that typical extended warrantee crap--the reason for denial makes no sense--next time it will be wrong phase of moon----and this is why warranty companies stay in business--its at your expense--good luck on this one.......

I am also confused as to the insurance company's position on this. I had an extended warranty policy for 3 years and they covered anything that broke. There was never any question about WRV having done a recall on anything before they would cover it. WRV went out of business in '08 so I doubt they had a recall anything in your coach. If your hoses are not covered by your policy I guess you have to pay up.

Just guessing there is a general exclusion in the policy for hoses, absent a recall like function.
