Need more info. Does thermostat work on fan, AC etc?
Don't know if it make a difference, but are you in zone1?
Does fan start but heater doesn't light?

What are the symptoms? complete nothing, Starts but shuts down?

There are many things we need to look at.. Do you have a multi-meter if not why don't you Every RVer needs one and needs to know how to use it.

How about a test light (Often it can replace the meter).

Once we have that settled here is how you go.

With the meter probe for power on the furnace control board connectors There is one that may be hard to find (it is labeled POWER) if you can see the label)
There is a circuit breaker/switch on top of the blower housing on an Attwod (don't knwo about Surburan) check it (Check for power in and out) there is a multi-pin connector if it has power then everything up to this point is good so that might be a good spot to start.

Beyond that we get into serious troubleshooting.

On our last outing the furnace refused to come on.I called a portable RV repair guy and he said he could have a look at it later on that evening. I checked fuses and thermostat and found nothing obvious. The unit didn't look that easy to get at or work on. About a half hour before the repair man was to show I tried the furnace again and it worked and had no further issues with it. I'm hoping someone will chime in with some advice on how to troubleshoot the unit.

What HVAC control system do you have? If it's a Dometic CCC, A reset of the tstat may correct it. Failing that, a check of the data cable from the furnace to Zone 1 AC control board is in order. Need more info.

Do you have something that is sitting in front of the propane monitor and pressing in on the button? That will shut off propane flow - and it isn't something that will come to mind to check.

Found out one day when a wastebasket was pressed up against the propane monitor and the refrigerator wasn't coming on. I was standing there swearing figuring that the frig was dying when I looked down, noticed the wastebasket pressed up against the monitor, moved it out of the way, and the refrigerator came back on that was a couple of years ago, since then I'm careful when getting things ready to travel to make sure the area around the propane monitor is clear.
