Hella 500 Driving Lights

Has anyone changed their Hella 500 driving lights to LED lights? I had a rock break one of my Hella lights on our last trip and in researching a new replacement I have been reading that Hella changed the light pattern on their their Hella 500 lights. If I have to change both lights I might change to LED's if I can find lights that fit.

Put one of these in front of your driving lights.

Just replaced my original driver's side light with another Hella halogen light that worked really well after first installed. However, I'm having problems with intermittent on/off (see post my post on driving lights don't work). I couldn't find an equivalent LED light that fit and was as bright as the halogen. So I installed two Hella lights (below) from Amazon for $67 w/o tax but no shipping (Prime member) in a kit that included relays, wiring and a switch that I didn't use but may have to if I can't get the direct connection to hi beam to work better:
