Hello Everyone!

I'm a new member here and my wife and I have owned our 2000 36' MDSS for almost two years now.

Can't tell you how darned excited I am about finding this forum! I scrolled through the previous posts and found three issues I've been dealing with -- rattle in the frontend (possible trackbar), slow fuel fill (venting) and the mysterious non-autostart self starting generator! WOW! Answers finally!

We love our coach and have had to deal with a few minor issues (like above) but wouldn't trade it for the world! (Well, maybe a new Alpine! )

I don't see many other Alpines around but did end up with Dave Fernandez's card on my picnic table a month ago in Las Vegas. (It was the purple & white custom painted coach on the end of the row Dave.) Looks like we need to get joined up with the ACA and make some new friends. I was in Vegas for a training class and conference for two weeks and did meet another owner who stopped by and said 'Hi'.

We bought our coach from Saddleback RV who had taken in on trade for a new Alpine from a fellow up in Washington who had the coach custom painted in purple, gray and white. Apparently the gentleman also owns a paint and body shop, so if he's here I'd like to say 'Hi' to him as well! Apparently he is a big Nascar fan as well...

Anyway it's good to be here and we hope to meet some of our fellow Alpine owners down the road!

Regards,

Mark & Vickie

Hello & Welcome Mark & Vickie:

Sorry we did not meet you in person while we were in Las Vegas and glad you found the IRV2 Web Site. The Coach you purchased use to belong to Mike Kelly who owns Riverside Enterprises. His company makes the custom skirt plates seen on the back of Motorhomes. I hope you will join us at one of our Rallies ACA or Alpine So Cal.

Dave & Donna

Welcome to IRV2 Mark and Vickie.

It's nice to hear from another happy Alpine Coach owner. I'm glad that you've already found the forum to be of help. Just ask if you have any questions and feel free to share any experiences you have. Also, see if you can modify your signature to include some info about your coach and toad. It'll help later on when another member wants to help you out.
