HELLO from Laughlin, NV

Thank you for your kind welcome jmonroe. Pleased to have found a forum for RVers. I'm new to traveling in a RV. I'm a retired bull hauler and traveled in a 2003 Pete. I'm excited and ready for new adventures in my 2003 Alpine Coach. Just having a problem with replacing the side mirror that was missing when bought. Needing the diagram for the model 2030 all Crome left side. I see the part is 714341.
Thank you again for the welcome and I'm confident I will be able to find the help I need.

Diagram?????not sure what you ae looking for? Its a Velvac bus mirror, manufactured in Milwaukee, Wis. They dont sell retail so have to go thru local RV/bus dealers--be prepared to pay a premium price unless you can find one used on line, or something. There may be some infor on the Alpine Coach Assoc web site--we have an extensive tech library. Also recommend you check out the ACA travel group-- a great bunch of folks.....http://www.velvac.com/sites/default/...7138002.11.pdf

I ordered a replacement mirror from Heavy Duty Truck Parts Online, Medium Duty, Light Duty - FinditParts. On their website, search for VELVAC 2030. When I purchased mine it was in stock and by far the best price.

Welcome TERandCHAR! I think Sandy's source sounds good. Another possibility is Aubrey's RV in Union Gap, WA. They carry a lot of the parts needed for Alpines since they are located right down the street from the old factory. They've always been helpful to us.

Hope we cross paths one day. You might want to check out some Alpine clubs as another way to learn about your Alpine. You can learn more about the national club at www.alpinecoachassociation.com and more about a regional club that covers southern California and southern Nevada at www.alpinesocal.com. We belong to both, and always learn something new at the rallies...not to mention the wonderful friendships we have made over the years.

Good luck with your mirror!
