Have a 2001 coach and working on dometic refrig. Shorted out 12V hot wire to controls. Cannot find the fuse. Have looked at every single fuse I can find. Maybe its an inline fuse? Anybody have any input where the 12V fuse is for the 12V power to the refrigerator.

Our '99 has 3 fuses; 2 near the isolator and 1 above the batteries. The holder for the refridgerator was a really cheap assembly and it went bad (disintegrated) on mine last year. It was hard to find because it was inside a split ribbed type cover. I replaced it with an ATC fuse and weather-tight holder (available at almost any auto parts store). If I remember correctly, it was a 25 Amp fuse.

If you want, I can look at the schematic and give the specific rating.

Also, I don't care for crimp-on type connectors in areas exposed to weather so I soldered it into the line.

Appreciate the input. Found it hiding in the top of the battery box behind couple wires so you could not easily see it. Thanks
