History of "Apex" in relation to WRV ?

As a relatively new member of the Alpine family, (bought our 2007 36FDDS) in spring of 2014, I keep running into references to various Alpine-Apex RV's. What's up with that? Just curious.

Dudley, if you want to see what the Apex is, go to the Alpine Tech Library above, there are product brochures loaded there, you can see all the specs.

To my knowledge, about 40 APEX coaches were built before WRV croaked.

75547 (Ellis)was the prototype where everything was controlled with a handheld remote control.

75587 (Fuller) was the 1st production unit and has a plaque signed by Ron Doyle which is worth a lot of money as a historical relic. HA!

75588 (Shaw) pictures...........This coach was in the factory at the time of the fire and was a long way from being finished. Robert got it moved to Gig Harbor, WA and brought it to life, a labor of love I doubt that even Engineer Mike would have attempted. My 2011 picture doesn't do it justice.
