Question Hitch mounted Flag pole?

Looking for a Flag Pole that will mount to rear hitch.
Have seen ones that you roll tire on, but would like one that connects to rear hitch.

Friend has one that mounts to his ladder and has a solar light on the top so Old Glory is lit up at night. Any ideas where to find one.

Thanks.

After looking at many out on the market. Could not find any that I really liked or would fit the pole we already had. I just built my own. Had the materials just needed to cut and weld it together. Also lightweight Aluminum.

I have a Roadmaster tow hitch. I welded an additional 2" receiver to the top of the drop extension at a 90 degree angle with gussets for support so I can mount the flag pole without removing the tow bar. It is simple and works great.

Here you go:

Hitch Mount

I have one but my flagpole is too long (collapsed) to fit in my compartments. Someday I'll buy a shorter flagpole...

Hitch mounted Flag pole?

The issue I found was that you have to remove the tow bar to be able to install the flag pole hitch. I found that was not acceptable, so I had a 2" receiver welded to the tow bar drop bar, with gussets to support it. The hitch is at a 90 degree angle, but the flag pole mount stands the pole between the Tow Guard and the coach.

I use flagpole buddy mounts attached to the rear ladder. Very easy to setup / take down. Literally a few seconds to accomplish.

Vince, unfortunately, or maybe fortunately depending upon your point of view, WRV did not choose to mount ladders on Alpines. While a few owners have added them, most have not. The mount shown above only requires an aluminum bracket be placed in the receiver and the flag pole installed and thus is a solution the OP (who has a 2002 Alpine) can use. It, like your mount, only takes seconds to install and does not require the removal of a tow bar.

I bought a 20' telescoping flagpole, hitch mount and automatic solar light from Uncommon USA. They included a 3x5 US flag and collegiate flag, along with a PVC sleeve to ground mount the pole in my yard at home. I bought it in the bronze finish, but also comes in silver and black. I've been very pleased with the quality and construction. Check them out.

Here is the link to Uncommon's telescoping poles:

Here is the solar light:

Here is the hitch mount:

I bought all of this together at a show, along with 2 flags, a ground sleeve and a padded travel bag for the pole and it cost me about $400. Give them a call, they'll work with you.
