Does anyone flat tow a Honda Pilot or Acura MDX 2006-2007? Would like to hear from you if you own and flat tow this model car.

We are one of several couples in ACA who tow a pilot 4 down. Have 50,000 miles on Speedometer and another 30,000+ towing on our 03. Only maintenance is new tires at about 75,000 miles total. Love the car, performance, room and ride. Gas mileage not great around 20 on the road, but we have it loaded with bikes and inflatable kayaks. Also have gone off road with it at Quartzsite. First Japanese car and have done the transmission fluid changes every 24 months as recommended.

We tow a Pilot also. Great car, tow ready. You need to know that when you get ready to tow you are to run it from 3rd to N, not from Reverse to N before you tow.

I bought a 2006 CR-V in April at that time it was my understanding the CR-V was the only Honda you could tow 4 Wheels down. I would check the owners manuel very close.

We have a copy of the Tech information some where that tells how to tow. If you cannot get it from the dealer we will fax it to you.
